Creative Writing Workshop – Mondays, 2-4pm
Join tutor Julie MacLusky’s Autumn writing workshop.
Always wanted to write but not sure how to get started? Have you been writing for some time, but would like the chance to improve?
This course will include:
- Weekly exercises that will develop essential skills, including plot development, characterisation, dialogue, editing etc.
- Small, informal and friendly workshopping of your writing
- Feedback from peers and the course tutor
Each session look at an aspect of writing, share completed work, and provide encouraging and constructive notes and feedback upon each student’s piece of work. We work towards developing a completed piece by the end of the term. Various writing styles are covered, including, but not limited to, short stories, novels, plays and poetry – anything you want to write. This class is for anyone who has an interest in storytelling or writing.
