When we sent out our newsletter at the end of last year we were celebrating, having finished re-building from the fire of 2018 and we’d just appointed our new manager. Little did we know that we would soon be wrestling with the effects of a global pandemic!

It hasn’t been an easy year but I’m proud to say that the Cube is still very much alive and thriving at the end of it. Like many venues we have had to close to many of our hirers but wherever possible we’ve stayed open for those who need to use us. So many people have helped us to do this – our wonderful manager Nicola, our staff, workers and volunteers and the hirers who have been so good at helping us all to stay Covid safe. We owe a big thank you to all of you.

It looks as though things will be challenging for the next few months ahead but we’re looking forward to reaching the new ‘normal’ and to welcoming you all back to to the Cube. Until then, enjoy Christmas and stay safe and well.
