When the Cube, (formerly known as ‘The Youth Centre’ or ‘The Youthie’) was at risk of closure in 2010, one of the many local people who rallied to help save the building was Anna Mitchell, an environmental artist, who to this day continues to runs Wild Wednesdays and Creative Clay sessions from the Cube.

Back in 2011, she asked the community what the Cube meant to them. She printed their answers into unique, quirky, (and stackable) little clay pots.  These beautiful works of art have now been hidden in the gardens of the Cube, with a list of all the words and phrases on display in the cafe area.

How many can you find? Can you add your own words about what the Cube means to you?  More pots will be made, perhaps with your words on them!

Come and see Nicola or one of the team for more information!
