Our wonderful Cube community

People are returning to the Cube after the Summer break. Classes and meetings are restarting, the café is in full swing and a great Autumn programme of music, film and drama is underway. We hope that everyone is happy to join us again and that they notice how fresh and clean the Cube is looking. With over 50 community groups and classes now regularly using the Cube it was in need of sprucing up.

Over the summer staff and volunteers have worked really hard to clean and paint some of the rooms – the Cube lounge has been transformed – and to move the reception desk in readiness for us to open up the office to make more space for a welcoming reception area.
And the volunteer gardeners at the Cube and at Connect have been working hard too. In June we took part in the Britain in Bloom competition and we have just heard that we not only helped to win Malvern a GOLD award but have also received an ‘outstanding’ certificate in the RHS’s community gardening competition. A really fantastic result !

We operate with a minimum of staff, led by the ever smiley Jon, and work to a shoe-string budget since we’re almost totally self-funded, so we rely on a lot of goodwill. And the Cube community doesn’t disappoint! We’re pleased to have recently appointed Vanessa, our new Volunteer co-ordinator, to help us recruit more people to our fantastic group of volunteers, who all help us to make the Cube a success.

If you would like to be part of this friendly Cube community then contact Jon or Vanessa in the office, or simply support us by coming along to buy a coffee or enjoy our events.
