Massive congratulations to Mia, who has been successfully appointed as Cafe Coordinator.  She has already started creating new dishes and will be bringing some great new flavours to the Garden Cafe.

Arts Fund Grant

Malvern Cube receives financial assistance from The Elmley Foundation for sound equipment.  This scheme is for community groups in Worcestershire (and Herefordshire after July 2020) planning arts events or purchases. There are two funds – Events and Activities and Arts Equipment.  Both offer up to all the projected cost, to a maximum of £1,000.

Gresham Professor of Geometry, Chris Budd OBE, is based at the University of Bath, where he is Professor of Applied Mathematics and Director of the Centre of Nonlinear Mechanics. He has a long history of engagement in the public understanding of science and mathematics through institutions such as the Royal Institution and the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications.

Christmas Came Early – TSB Community Fund

Christmas came early for the Cube in the shape of a  generous donation from the Malvern branch of the TSB. Trustees Karen and Jo joined staff for Christmas drinks and nibbles and for the presentation of a cheque for £675.
