East-West Fusion maestro CHINMAYA DUNSTER in a first-ever UKtour CHINMAYA: Author of eighteen CDs since the mid-‘80s. Invited by Paul McCartney to play at his wedding in Ireland in 2002. Formed the Celtic Ragas Band and Green Ragas Band to give multimedia environmental awareness-raising performances across India 2004-13. Founder of prestigious Assagao Mehfil and Auckland Mehfil, showcasing World music talent in Goa and New Zealand since 2012. Moved from New Zealand to Devon at the beginning of 2019.

THE BAND: Chinmaya has worked with Prabodh Senger (bass) in India for twenty years and with Yair Katz (drums) In New Zealand over the past five years. They are joined by London-based keyboardist Vikas, violinist/vocalist Suvarna and Lewis Riley on tabla.
THE MUSIC: in his ‘As Far As The Ear Can Hear’ project Chinmaya alternates Indian classical themes on the sarod with songs based on the poetry of mystics such as `Bulleh Shah and Rabindranath Tagore
