Malvern Cube Bloom Quaker Garden Community Centre

Judges from the Heart of England in Bloom competition visited Malvern in July and were given a tour of the town by the Chairman of Malvern in Bloom John Jordan. The two judges from the Royal Horticultural Society started at the Cube where they were particularly impressed with the vegetable garden which provides fresh produce for the Cafe at the Cube. The winners will be announced in mid-September so fingers crossed..

Heart of England in Bloom is a great way for small groups of residents to get started in ‘greening up’  their local area, making it a nicer place to live and work. No previous knowledge or experience is needed.

It is non-competitive – neighbourhoods are not judged against each other – but Heart of England In Bloom Assessors will visit each area to give feedback, support and advice.  Each entry is then presented with an Establishing, Improving, Developing, Thriving or Outstanding Award to recognise the communities that are taking responsibility and action to regenerate their local environment.

Everyone benefits from cleaner, safer, greener communities – socially, environmentally and economically.
